Face of Aborigines Advocate Now Available in Building Form

If there's one way to make a statement, it's by splashing a man's face on a 330-foot-high portion of a skyscraper. That's exactly what folks in Melbourne, Australia, have done to pay tribute to Willliam Barak, once a leader of the Wurundjeri indigenous clan and an outspoken champion of social justice for Aborigines. Thanks to a series of undulating concrete balconies, his visage will appear on to an in-the-works building by ARM Architects and "unite the city's modern heritage with its ancient history," according to the developer's statement. Just imagine how creeptastic the jack-o-lantern-esque tower will look at night!
