Providing more proof that Soviet lackeys lived better than your average Communist, a tower apartment in East Berlin once inhabited by the divided city's chief architect, Hermann Henselmann. The Times paid a visit to the flat, which is now occupied by artist/developer Eva-Maria Steidel and done up in a minimalist style. [NYT]
