With plans to control not only the world but also the California city of Mountain View, Google is facing some backlash from NIMBYs who think the tech giant is expanding—physically, that is—too quickly. Starting in 2013, Google plans to build 1.2M square feet in town—offices, housing, rec centers—and needless to say not everyone is pleased about it. [WSJ]
