Tower of Money

The New York Times paid a visit to a slick converted water tower in Belgium now inhabited by Patrick Mets, a man who has been "fascinated by water towers since he was a teenager." Mets bought the tower, which had been built by the Nazis in 1941, for $43K, then spent $2.1M fixing it up into a six-floor two-bedroom home. [NYT]
