The Round 1 polls have closed, the counts tallied, and today Hottest Week chugs along Sweet 16 style. Some notable upsets: architect Forrest Jessee, of renowned firm Diller Scofidio + Renfro, beat out HGTV personality Taniya Nayak, and Los Angeles-based interior designer Kishani Perera beat out classic and much-written-about design doyenne Victoria Hagan. Also of note: architect Lira Luis, an alumna of Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin school, earned the most votes overall. Only four ladies are left; voting for Round 2 begins momentarily.
