A charming 1926 house in the Detroit neighborhood of Palmer Woods hit the auction block this morning with a minimum bid of $55,600. Count the accrued unpaid fines, which the next owner will be responsible for, and that figure jumps to roughly $112,600. Still not too shabby, considering it was listed for $239,900 as recently as Aug. 28. To Curbed Detroit for photos. [Curbed Detroit]
