Inside Heath Ledger's Newly Listed Midcentury "Treehouse"

New, 2 comments

The Hollywood Hills manse that Heath Ledger owned and lived in with Michelle Williams has hit the market for $2.995M. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom, 1,861-square-foot house was built in 1951 and is known colloquially as "The Treehouse" for its sycamore-grove setting and floor-to-ceiling expanses of glass. Aside from the Hollywood pedigree—Ledger bought the place from Ellen Degeneres in 2005—other selling points include the property's 2,500 square feet of outdoor living space featuring an outdoor movie lounge and "multiple seating areas perched in the trees," according to the fawning brokerbabble. The home first hit the market after Ledger's death in 2008 and sold soon after for $2.5M.
