It's possible that the brainstorming meeting for the new Adidas headquarters in Herzogenaurach, Germany, involved lots of folks sitting around waxing poetic about what "pure Adidas" really means in terms of interior design and furniture. Thanks to Berlin-based design group KINZO, that murky phrase has been translated to a glassy, modernist office space for 1,700, complete with custom furniture by German-based firm Planmöbel, magnificent displays for everything from office documents to athletic wear, and separated "team" rooms that convey the sense of a "space within a space." Outside, glass walkways are laid out to resemble the laces of a sneaker. Have a look at some of the photos above and head over to Contemporist for more.
