Is This Where Marilyn Monroe Married Arthur Miller?

Brokers sometimes say the darndest things to try and sell a property, with tenuous ties to the rich and famous among the most popular claims. This high-floor, two-bedroom apartment in NYC's 2 Sutton Place South had plenty going for it, including a rare-for-the-building terrace, but the kicker in the brokerbabble is that Arthur Miller and Marilyn Monroe were "possibly married in this very apt." While the famous couple did live in the building together in the mid-1950s, news reports of the time point to a quickie civil ceremony at the Westchester County Courthouse. The iconic actress was certainly photographed frequently in the lobby of the grand pre-war building in the lead up to her nuptials, but is this really the site of her wedding? More importantly, is there anyone willing to spend $2.5M for this 1,800-square-foot apartment as a result?
