Fashion's grande dame, the late Coco Chanel, pursued such elegant minimalism in her designs that it comes as a great surprise that her Paris apartment, recently visited by fashion blog The Coveteur, is decorated with such elegant maximalism. It turns out she of the little black dress was more interested in eclectic luxury than she is given credit for. In fact, some of the more daring pieces were custom designed by Chanel herself, including a suede couch and a chandelier with her signature number fives integrated into the design. Head over to The Coveteur for many more photos. Sorry, crass imitators, that black-and-white-all-over thing was just for the boutique.
