An Adorable "Modern Farmhouse" With an A&E Connection

Photos by Chris Stout-Hazard/The Gill Agency

Located in Austin's "alternative modern community" of Agave and designed by local firm FAB Architecture, the three-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home of home stager and TV personality Roger Hazard (host of Sell This House on A&E) and his husband, Chris Stout-Hazard, has just hit the market for $300K. The 1,500-square-foot home was featured as an Apartment Therapy House Tour in December (and recently on Hooked On Houses); both blogs talk up the "modern farmhouse" element, the overall polished, yet, DIY feel of the decor, the rustic details (board and batten siding, barn doors), the carefully placed taxidermy, and the concrete floors. Best of all? Really terrific, polished listing photos (taken by Stout-Hazard) that would be right at home in any shelter book. Do have a look above.
