Behold the Red Sox Room in Jonathan Papelbon's Penthouse

New, 1 comment

New Philadelphia Phillies transplant Jonathan Papelbon put his Boston penthouse on the market earlier this week, but now it's time for more than just a passing glance. The former Red Sox pitcher—known for sprinting to the bullpen while the punk-rock song "Shipping Up to Boston" blares throughout the stadium and for claiming that his dog, Boss, ate the winning ball from the 2007 World Series—is asking $3.1M for the 2,500-square-foot, four-bedroom space; highlights include the the outdoor hot tub on one of the two decks, direct elevator access, and, as the eagle-eyed guys at Curbed Boston noticed in the listing photos, two chairs from Fenway. (Not sure if these are included in the ask, of course, but one can dream.) Best of all, there's that Red Sox-themed nursery shown above. Have a look.
