Artist and designer Yayoi Kusama's installation at the Gallery of Art in Brisbane, Australia is called The Obliteration Room. It's a fitting title. Starting with a stark white room, Kusama furnished the place to look like a household living room, complete with piano, sofas, bookshelves, and the like, all painted the same uniform white. Then came the fun part. The artist invited children visiting the museum to plaster the room with thousands of colorful stickers, transforming this serene blank canvas into a riotous, colorful work of randomness.
