Let's begin in Osterville, at 132 S Bay Road, with a 10,155 sq. ft. custom home built in 2001. Located on Little Island, the waterfront residence overlooks West Bay and Nantucket Sound with approximately 212 feet of beach frontage. First listed in February 2011 for $4M, three pricechops have brought the listing down to the current ask of $3,195,000.

Over on Nantucket, at 1 Pochick Avenue, we find a 15,074 sq. ft. compound on 5.66 acres. The property includes a six bedroom main house, a cabana house with outdoor kitchen, a carriage house, a barn with a commercial kitchen, and a five bedroom guest house. Outside, there's an infinity pool, par-three golf course, an enclosed vegetable garden and a formal english garden. As for the basement of the main house, we'll let the brokerbabble do the talking:

In Woods Hole, at 43 Church Street, we find a 15,078 sq. ft. waterfront compound known as "Fairview." According to the brokerbabble, this place is "is one of the most spectacular properties in Woods Hole and arguably on the whole east coast." The 7.49 acre property includes 890 feet of frontage on Little Harbor as well as views of Vineyard Sound and the Elizabeth Islands. The compound includes a circa 1918 shingle-style main house "ready for a major make-over," a renovated three bedroom guest cottage, a renovated three bedroom carriage house, a boathouse, two additional cottages, and a greenhouse. Outside, there are also formal gardens and a small sandy beach. The property last changed hands in 2005 for $8M and hit the market in October 2010 asking $14M. Two years later and zero pricechops keep the asking price there.

Finally to East Falmouth, at 102 Highwood Lane, where we find a 8,657 sq. ft. "special home" built in 2005. Located in Ballymeade, there are views of the western coast of Falmouth, Buzzards Bay, the Islands and up to the Canal. The four bedroom, six bath residence on .67 acres was first listed in June 2008 for $5.8M. A May 2011 pricechop brought the ask down 44.8 percent, to $3.2M. The listing price was again chopped in April of this year, where it remains at $2,750,000.
