The owners of a $3.3M NYC apartment are suing their former subletters for $213,200 in damages and lost rent after the subletters painted "everything in sight" "putrid" colors. The tenants, who now live next door, painted the vents, built-in speakers, sprinklers, light fixtures, and, um, mirrors. They also added "three-dimensional stripes" to a living room wall. Not sure what those are, but they're apparently evil and cost around $100K to undo. [New York Post via Curbed NY]
