We're looking an editor to cover the chalets, ranches, pistes, and local subculture that spans the ski towns of the American west. Ideally, you live in one of these towns—Aspen? Telluride? Park City? Sun Valley? Tahoe?—and enjoy a familiarity with many of them. Or perhaps you're based in Denver, Salt Lake City, or Santa Fe but find yourself on the slopes more days than not in the winter? If so, this could be the gig for you.
We're also looking for an editor for a forthcoming Curbed Hawaii. Like our edition in Cape Cod, this site will obsessively track the amazing estates and properties of the Hawaiian islands, while also casting a curious eye on the local scenes.
This are both part-time freelance gigs with commensurate pay; you'll be able to work from anywhere you want so long as you keep your ear close to the ground for good real estate, architecture, neighborhoods, and parks & rec intel.
