Inside Naomi Campbell's Utterly Insane 'Spaceship House'

While her fellow supermodels choose to live in elegantly appointed homes ranging from traditional Boston townhouses to cute Spanish-style retreats in L.A., the ever-temperamental Naomi Campbell has a penchant for shacking up in, say, wacky eye-shaped eco-palaces in Turkey and Gothic palaces in Venice. Add this to the real estate holdings of Campbell and her billionaire boyfriend, Vladislav Doronin: a truly mindblowing mansion near Moscow. Designed by Siren of Swoop, Countess of Curves Zaha Hadid, the 28,500-square-foot home features a 65-foot-tall giraffe neck that somewhat resembles an Air Traffic Control tower—whence Campbell will throw her tantrums from on high?—and is meant to "extend the exterior topography to the interior of the building," according to a statement on the architect's site, "while geometrical definition is derived from the surrounding environment." Or, as Gizmodo eloquently translates, the futuristic abode "feels like a smoothed Star Destroyer." It really has to be seen to be believed; do consult one in-progress construction photo and some equally crazy interior renderings above.
