Students from the University of Art and Design Lausanna in Switzerland were recently created pieces for Villa Le Lac, designed by Le Corbusier and built in the 1920s. This wasn't some willy-nilly process: "Prior to producing anything, each student was required to determine precisely where their object would go and what purpose it would serve," according to Co.Design, and take into consideration the fact that proposed door handles, say, might damage the walls.
