Wylie Dufresne Wire

Just how normal is Wylie Dufresne's Connecticut weekend retreat? Like many of his fellow chefs' homes, so, so normal: it's a two-bedroom Cape with a reno'd kitchen, "a salt-and-pepper shag carpet from a Home Depot carpet sale, and comfy orange couches from Crate & Barrel." There's also a fake deer named Bucky, which the molecular gastronomy superfan uses to practice his air rifle skills. [NYP; previously]
