A former Truckee resident and his boss, subjects of a National Geographic reality TV show, "Hell on The Highway," were recently arrested for illegally dumping waste fuel on Highway 70. Police used footage from the show, which follows tow truck companies and highway workers as they deal with tourists stuck in snowbanks on the Donner Pass section of I-80, to indict the pair.
