Telluride Restricts Town Park Drinking, Hockey League Scathed

Drinking in public just got a little more onerous in Telluride's Town Park, the town's central space that hosts everything from campsites to September's infamous Blue and Brews Festival. Apparently enough parents called in this summer complaining of extensive drinking and unruly behavior "in close proximity to youth programs or facilities" in the park, and more strict rules have been written up. A couple jerks always have to ruin the fun for everyone. Luckily the adult hockey league lobby was heard, and the council made a special exemption to the new rule for "Scheduled adult recreational program participants and spectators, including adult league hockey games."
