Osbournes' L.A. Mansion May Have Sold to Jessica Simpson

Rumor has it that Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne's Los Angeles residence—yes, the very same number featured last year in Arch Digest—has found a buyer: pop princess Jessica Simpson. Faced with the age-old conundrum of "bring[ing] a dose of enlightenment to the dwelling place of the former front man of Black Sabbath—a.k.a. the Prince of Darkness," sassy interior designer Martyn Lawrence-Bullard spruced up the 11,000-square-foot manse with a English countryside-meets-rock vibe ("easygoing but still opulent—with a little rock-star edge thrown in") much like the one he devised for the couple's other L.A. pad for the series premiere of Bravo's Million Dollar Decorators, in which Sharon cooed over the end results with reality TV aplomb. Anyway, the home boasts six bedrooms, staff quarters, his and her offices, "an ebony sculpture of Pan getting fresh with a nymph, which Sharon admits is 'very naughty,'" and that be-all, end-all emblem of any celebrity decorating job: a disarticulated hand in the foyer. The home was last on the market for $12.999M, though the exact amount Simpson and fiancé Eric Johnson supposedly paid remains, for now, unknown. See the glossy AD photos of the home above.
