Let's begin in Provincetown, at 1 Fortuna Road, where we find a three bedroom, three bath contemporary with views of Cape Cod Bay. The 2,822 sq. ft. was built in 1985 and features a newly renovated kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. According to the brokerbabble, the living room " is highlighted by an artist inspired wood burning fireplace." We take it they're referring to the shell design in the brickwork. Moving on, there are exposed beams, skylights, hardwood floors and wood stoves in both the master suite and lower level. Up on the roof, the deck offers views of the Bay, dunes and the Atlantic. The listing last changed hands in February 2005 for $1.03M and the property returned to the market in May 2008 asking $1.495M. Five pricechops and one priceupper have the listing at the current ask of $995K.

In East Falmouth, at 354 Acapesket Road, we find a three bedroom, three bath ranch on Green Pond. The 1,456 sq. ft. residence was built in 1935 and features waterviews from all rooms plus an oversized deck. According to the brokerbabble, "the new dock can accomodate several large boats." They probably don't mean the QE2, but either way, there's access to Vineyard Sound.

In Eastham, at 1570 Samoset Road, we find a three bedroom, three bath bay side property with marsh views and private stairs to First Encounter Beach. Built in 1998, the 2,560 sq. ft. colonial features a large from porch, open floor plan and a master suite with Rumford fireplace and a private deck. The property hit the market in late-August asking $1.1M. An October pricechop brought the listing down to $995K.

Now to the Upper Cape, at 4 Worcester Avenue in Bourne, where we find a restored Victorian with views of Phinney's Harbor. The 3,351 sq. ft. six bedroom, five bath was built in 1892 and features a wrap around porch, wood floors, window seats, and built-in China cabinets. Most awesomely, there's a turret with panoramic views. Outside, there's also a garage with a studio/guest quarters above.

Finally, to West Barnstable, at 115 Parker Road, where we find a 3,130 sq. ft. three bedroom, three bath on 26.2 acres. Land ho! In addition to the main residence, the property includes a large storage building and a fixer-upper cottage. The wooded parcel also includes some frontage on No Bottom Pond and can be divided with the home sold separate from most of the land. The listing first hit the market in October 2008 asking $1.4M. Four years and just two pricechops later, the property is asking $995K.
