It's been a pretty stellar week to be a skier almost anywhere in North America this week. Resorts from Colorado to Maine have been breathing a big sigh of relief as feet upon feet of snow have coated mountains from Whistler to Squaw Valley to Sugarloaf the week before the Christmas holiday.
