Curbed Awards '12 Nantucket: The Hottest Broker, The Fugliest Listing & More!

It's time to make up a bunch of awards and hand them out to the most deserving people, places and things in the worlds of Cape & Islands real estate, architecture and dining. That's right, it's time for the First Annual Curbed Awards!

The Gray Lady gets the award for having New England's priciest single family listing in 2012 (above). First listed in May asking $59M, the nearly 70 acre Polpis estate met with the pricechopper in September and reduced the ask to $49M. Oddly, there were no takers and the listing is now off the market. Meanwhile, Nantucket gets the award for The Cape & Islands Hottest Broker, with the one and only Liz Finlay of Great Point Properties. To balance out the sexy, Curbed readers were in awe of this in-town listing, a hot mess of toile, chintz, plaid, and much, much more. How much for the rather hideous listing? A very Nantucket asking price of just under $2M, of course.
