Snow Report

Still waiting to hear if Northern California's Mount Shasta has broken its own world record for largest single-storm snowfall, which it set in February 1959 with a 189 inch storm. The high end of predictions for Mt. Shasta Ski Park sit around 213 inches (over 18 feet), whose summit is still 7,200 feet lower than the uninhabited summit of Mt. Shasta proper, which is likely seeing much, much more snow. [Examiner]
