Here's What a Jay-Z-Designed Luxury Suite Looks Like

New, 1 comment

Rap mogul and unofficial Brooklyn spokesperson Jay-Z is working alongside SHoP architects on a group of 11 luxury suites—The Vault at Barclays Center, if you will—for the New Jersey Nets' new home arena. When complete, they'll cost $550K a year to own, they'll be stocked with $300 bottles of Armand de Brignac Champagne, and, thanks to Jay-Z's guidance, they'll boast asymmetrical layouts with "lots of black and shimmering metallics" for decor. In this vision, even the forks will be fancy—"A plastic fork? Please. Even stainless steel was out of the question."
