In an interview with The Guardian, architect Frank Gehry says there's a "backlash against me and everyone who has done buildings that have movement and feeling." Calling said backlash "self-righteous," he continues: "Therefore, curving the wall or doing something so-called willful is wrong and so there is a tendency back to bland." Try telling that to the National Civic Art Society. [The Guardian via UnBeige]
