Dick Clark Lists His Rockin' Rock-Carved SoCal Home

New, 7 comments

Media personality and Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve cohost Dick Clark has put his 22-acre mountaintop Malibu, Calif., home on the market for $3.5M. Although details about the architect are nonexistent, the listing does decry that “this is art as architecture at it’s finest," and it's obvious that the one-bedroom, two-bathroom house has taken a page from the Flintstones' book, with a mass that looks carved from bedrock, vaulted ceilings, and floor-to-ceiling expanses of glass. Clark, now in his 80s, seems rather adventurous, even young at heart, when it comes to his architecture: he's got two other places in town and one is shaped like a hexagon.
