The website Houzz has become a 365,000-photo-strong virtual home-design inspiration board since it launched in 2009, and today the New York Times features the Palo Alto, Calif., home of its husband-and-wife founders. “Budgets are very important in a renovation,” said Alon Cohen. “Maybe for people involved in the Facebook I.P.O., money is not an issue, but for most people it is.” [NYT]
