Restoration Hardware Goes Graffiti; Modern in Montauk

New, 3 comments

THE COASTS—Embracing a street-art vibe one doesn't ordinarily associate with nail head detail or tufted leather, Restoration Hardware has commissioned 12-by-24-foot graffiti installations for its NYC and West Hollywood stores. The works, by CMENTONE (Matt Boal) and GE-OLOGY, incorporate quotes penned by Restoration Hardware chairman and co-CEO Gary Friedman. Under "Fearless and Hopeless" (above), for example, the line reads: "When we fearlessly fight for what we believe in, and remain hopelessly optimistic about life, love, and the future, we create an authentic connection with all in our path, most importantly with ourself."
