Renaissance Man Justin Timberlake Launches a Home Line

New, 4 comments

Cue the "bringing sexy back" puns that'll no doubt show up on the Internet in reaction to this: Justin Timberlake has co-produced a line of home goods with his go-to interior designer, Estee Stanley. According to Elledecor.com, which broke the news, the HomeMint collection will take on "a European vibe, we’re inspired by Axel Vervoordt and Christian Liaigre," Stanley says. Adds Timberlake, who at one point owned not one but two glassy Manhattan condos—simultaneously: "I like very clean, almost modern architecture, and the obstacle with something like that is making it extremely warm, because it doesn’t naturally lend itself to that. With everything we do together, we try to get the juxtaposition right."

While HomeMint includes pieces of Timberlake and Stanley's own design, as well as those produced by manufacturers such as Canvas, the pop star reveals just how heavy his hand has been in the process: "I’ll sit and I’ll look at hardware for hours. Literally, for hours, I’ll sit and compare hardware. The devil’s in the details. I mean, it’s your home, it has to be your own." Man, is there anything this boy can't do?

Anyway, the site launched today and includes tabletop pieces, barstools, art, and rugs, which are all available at member ($10 a month) and nonmember pricing. Head to Elledecor.com for a sneak peek of the offerings.
