Glee's Lea Michele Buys a New Bungalow in Hollywood

New, 4 comments

Today in 25-year-olds buying mansons: Glee star Lea Michele has abandoned her Bronx roots and plunked $1.4M down on a sunny new place in the Hollywood Hills. According to The Real Estalker, Michele bought the 1920 home from mega-photographer Norman Jean Roy, who listed the place for $1.395M last month. While this isn't the most spectacular or interesting celebrity-owned house Curbed has ever seen it's not hard to see what enticed Michele to pay $5K above ask: cute, airy interiors (1,800 square feet, two bedrooms) with French doors and a nice, light kitchen, a trellis-shaded outdoor dining room with a built-in barbecue, and a saltwater pool nestled into the lush backyard landscaping. Besides, if Michele happens to crave a swankier and perhaps more modern setting, she can always get her fix over at Glee castmate Kevin McHale's—he just bought a million-dollar place nearby. Kids these days!
