Pop Star Justin Bieber Finally Settles on a New SoCal Crib

New, 1 comment

It's been a harrowing couple of weeks for Justin Bieber, who's learned at a very young age just how unrelenting world of real estate can be. First the glassy, modern Hollywood Hills home the he reportedly wanted to buy was scooped out from under him by fellow celebrity—and the guy renting that house at the time—Ashton Kutcher. Then the global pop sensation ran into trouble trying to secure the purchase of his second-choice property in Calabasas, Calif., a star-studded city north of Los Angeles: the Spanish-style home had been over-appraised.

Thankfully, all has worked out. Bieber has paid some $6M for the 1.28-acre property, which used to belong to actor Eddie Murphy's ex-wife, Nicole, and has six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, six fireplaces, two separate garages, an elevator, a pool and spa, and a detached casita. Rumors are that Biebs has grand plans to install some high-tech toys (plus a private theater and game room) in his new digs. And according to TMZ, Calabasas mayor Mary Sue Maurer is pretty psyched that Bieber Fever will soon hit this close to home.
