Historic Renovations

After nearly two years and $6M later, Boston's historic Faneuil Hall reopened to the public over the weekend (and not too soon?before the opening, people regularly tried to get in to the place, "even when each door [was] surrounded by three steel gates.") To the untrained eye, the the 1742 building looks remarkably unchanged, with most of the money going towards electrical and lighting upgrades, but true Faneuil-philes will notice that the public market space now sports a new "rustic industrial" look.
