Modernist Photography

Something like an Indian Julius Shulman, the Delhi-based photographer Madan Mahatta captured the modernist architecture of the moment in pitch-perfect black and white photographs. Now his work is seeing recognition as art, appearing in an exhibition at the Photoink gallery in Delhi until June 21st. The New York Times has a few of the stunning snapshots. [NYT]
