Another Former Yahoo! Exec Lists a Pricey California Estate

New, 2 comments

Another former Yahoo! executive is trying to unload their house. First, past chairman and CEO Terry Semel listed his jaw-dropping Malibu estate earlier this month for $50M and now ex-president and Chief Operating Officer Jeff Mallett is putting his Napa Valley home on the market. Mallett's 25-acre property starts with a relatively modest 4 bedroom, 4.5 bath main house. But for $17.5M, what he's really selling is the private and personal NCGA-sanctioned 9-hole golf course, complete with "unique island tee shot." But there's also a 7,500 clubhouse with an English-style pub bar, a pool pavilion with a dedicated croquet lawn, 2 lakes that come pre-loaded with fish, and a smattering of other little outbuildings (including one dedicated to keeping golf carts in tip top shape). And of course there's a glossy video tour of the property, full of aerial footage and inspirational royalty-free music.
