Not to detract from the sheer visual genius here, but some formalities about the architectural craziness shown above: the single-family home in Frohenleiten, Austria was designed Reinhold Weichlbauer and Albert Josef Ortis of the local firm Weichlbauer Ortis Architects. As Freshome puts it, the residence, composed of a series of concrete volumes, "can be looked at as an exploration of the connectivity between nature and architecture." And: "simple concrete stairs leading nowhere construct a fairy-tale scenario, while the surrounding green scape participates in creating a picturesque surrounding." As Curbed puts it: fore!
