It looks like Southeastern Massachusetts might actually be rolling the dice on a casino. The Taunton City Council voted Thursday night to back the Mashpee Wampanoag proposal to build a casino in East Taunton. The tribe is attempting to build a destination resort casino over a five year period, at a cost of over $500 million. Next up, residents go to the polls on June 9 for a nonbinding vote.
