The oldest building in the Western Hemisphere is in North Miami Beach: St. Bernard de Clairvaux, an ancient monastery that was shipped from Spain to the States by William Randolph Hearst. It was built in Sacramenia in the 12th century, making it 700 years older than any other building in South Florida. Scouting NY has a tour. [Scouting NY via Curbed Miami]
