Chatham's Tercentennial

Chatham's 300th birthday celebration got into full swing over the weekend. Following in the tradition of the Monomoyick, who pre-dated white settlers by thousands of years, activities emphasized the important role community has played in the town's development. Incorporated on June 11, 1712, the town's tercentennial will be "joyfully observed" until December 31. [Wicked Local]
