Debuting next week at the Dwell on Design show in L.A.: a full-size inflatable pool house inspired by the David Hockney painting "The Big Splash." Designed by British company AirClad, the 32-by-13-by-16-foot structure has a strikingly brick-and-mortar look, despite being made of solar-reflective PVC with a base, sides, and top that all blow up. Said an AirClad rep: “Inflatables are becoming more and more accepted as a viable alternative to constructing buildings." Says Curbed: inflatables are becoming more and more ridiculously good-looking.
