Actress Claire Danes purchased this loft in New York's Soho neighborhood in 1998 for, by some accounts, as little as $625K. Now, she's decided to part with it for quite a bit more: $6M. Of course, it's not just 14 years of real estate appreciation that account for the price hike, there's also the fact that Danes converted the space from a raw loft into a luxe three-bedroom home with 16 windows, a wood-burning fireplace, original wooden columns, and a funky kitchen with swiveling dining table.
