EVERYWHERE—The minimalist architect John Pawson—whose recent projects include the penthouse at NYC's 40 Bond—has released a new book, A Visual Inventory, documenting his work over the past 10 years. There's one catch: none of his architecture is included in the book. Instead, it's a collection of some 260 odd photographs taken by Pawson as visual inspiration. [Arch Paper]
ON SCREEN—Famed midcentury architect Eero Saarinen will finally be getting his silver screen due. PBS, thanks to a grant from Michigan businessman A. Alfred Taubman, will be producing the flick in cooperation, unsurprisingly with "the Finnish Cultural Institute in New York, Consulate General of Finland in New York, the Finnish Broadcasting Company, and the Museum of Finnish Architecture."
