Architectural Hen House; Lennox Chief Sells After Seven Years

SWEDEN—How much would you spend to keep your hens happy? For at least one egg-happy Swede, quite a bit. He or she enlisted local architect Torsten Ottesjö to design this swooping hen house on Sweden's rocky west coast. Modeled after the wing of a hen, the house is constructed of wooden slats. [Dezeen]

THE HAMPTONS—Former Bloomingdale's executive Lester Gribetz has finally sold his Shelter Island waterfront estate after a stunning seven years on the market. The 6,800-square-foot shingled mansion underwent a $1M price chop back in March and that seems to have finally done the trick to get this place sold. Gribetz, who is now the head of Lennox, should be happy to have an extra $9.95M in his pocket this summer, provided the latest asking price held up. [Curbed Hamptons]
