21-Pound Lobster Caught Off Orleans; Get WAAM'ed In Truro

ORLEANS - A 21-pound lobster, recently caught off Nauset Beach, is now on display at Capt'n Elmers in Orleans. Wasn't Nauset Beach where a shark recently put on a show for 3,000 adoring fans? Busy beach. Anyway, back to the lobster. It's claws are about a foot long and once cooked, there should be about five pounds of meat. "The plan is to show the lobster off for a few days and then either sell it or raffle it off for charity." [CBS Boston; Curbed Cape Cod]

TRURO - Speaking of charity, the Wine, Art, Appetizers and Music (WAAM) event that usually takes place on Wednesdays in July and August at Truro Vineyards is happening tonight. "Art Outside the Box" is a special event to benefit the Cape Cod Children's Place from 6-8 p.m. [Truro Vineyards of Cape Cod]
