President Obama might now be having the West Wing redone by decorator-to-the-stars Michael Smith, but 31 years ago he was just Barack Obama, Columbia student, and was shacking up in this, er, modest two-bedroom on Manhattan's Upper West Side. A bit from the brokerbabble:
