Developer Mohamed Hadid Lists Latest L.A. Creation for $58M

Have a nomination for a jaw-dropping listing that would make a mighty fine House of the Day? Get thee to the tipline and send us your suggestions. We'd love to see what you've got.

Location: Beverly Hills, Calif.
Price: $58,000,000
The Skinny: Mohamed Hadid just loves building huge mega-mansions for some of Los Angeles' richest denizens and this new example is hardly a break from tradition. As a point of reference, Hadid's last mansion was the stunningly opulent La Belvedere estate, which sold in 2010 for a whopping $50M. This new Middle Eastern-influenced spread, listed for $58M, is situated on a modest lot located right across from the storied Beverly Hills Hotel for cachet and after-party potential. The 48,000-square-foot monster manse boasts extravagant detailing, like "hand-cut Lalique-style glass doors and crystal chandeliers...richly-hued marble...glossy woods," and state of the art "computer, sound and security technology." There is space enough to park ten vehicles, while seven bedrooms and eleven bathrooms provide human accommodation. Hadid's last place endured plenty of price chops before selling, will this one suffer the same fate?
