OAK BLUFFS - Yesterday, The Rhode Island Fast Ferry christened the "Ava Pearl," their new Vineyard fast ferry. Made in Somerset, Mass., the $6 million, 150 passenger vessel includes, "two EPA Tier-2 approved diesel engines, an "S" bow hull configuration, and an interior with a snack bar and five flat-screen televisions."
