A West Chop Taj Mahal; The New Fast Ferry; More!

WEST CHOP- Trial lawyer Jim Ferraro's 23,000 sq. ft. waterfront compound on three acres is one of the largest homes on the Island. Referred to as the "Taj Mahal" by some neighbors, the 61 room complex was completed in 2009 for $27 million and includes, "...14 bedrooms, 20 bathrooms, a pool, a basketball court, a boccie ball court and a putting green..." OAK BLUFFS - Yesterday, The Rhode Island Fast Ferry christened the "Ava Pearl," their new Vineyard fast ferry. Made in Somerset, Mass., the $6 million, 150 passenger vessel includes, "two EPA Tier-2 approved diesel engines, an "S" bow hull configuration, and an interior with a snack bar and five flat-screen televisions."
