THE INTERNET—The guys at Architizer have a new fearless leader: Jenna M. McNight has just signed on as editor in chief. McNight was most recently news director at Arch Record. [Architizer]

NYC—Designer Visions, Hearst Magazines' version of an annual "showhouse," has announced this year's lineup: David Rockwell will design House Beautiful's room, Antony Todd, Veranda's, and Matthew Patrick Smyth, Elle Decor's. (This year Elle Decor, Hearst's newest shelter title, replaces Designer Visions veteran Town & Country.) Additional intel: the publisher will partner with the 48 Hour Film Project—"the completed apartments will be used as actual sets for short films." No word yet about where this all will happen—last year's Designer Visions took place in an S. Russell Groves-renovated building overlooking Central Park. [CurbedWire Inbox; previously]

NYC—Lack of French furnishings got you down? Not to fear: Ligne Roset is gearing up to hold a sample sale in its Soho store (Aug. 17 to 19). That means, of course, chairs that cost $1,699 instead of $2,470, chests going for $1,999 instead of $4,280, and more. [CurbedWire Inbox]
